Mare Earley is an award winning Art Director and graphic designer with experience at major publishing companies across the country. A unique designer with talent and story developing capabilities, she works well with clients, photographers and illustrators to solve creative problems as a team player. A skillful and sophisticated leader and visionary, she is dedicated to providing service and graphic design that is creative fresh and polished.
With executive leadership abilities that cultivate team loyalty, budgetary skills and publication conception, Mare has worked for the Fairchild Cap Cities, Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, St. Louis Post Dispatch and the New York Daily News.
Ms. Earley has owned her own business for the past 10 years. Her clients include Bloomberg Philanthropies, SCO Family of Services, Lagond Music School, New York Daily News, The City of New York: Administration for Children's Services and Department of Corrections, PME, LLC. (a marketing and promotions company, Hartford CT) Chicago Sun Times, The Conference Board, Content That Works, Tomson Publishing, Blue Note Records, and Oxford Press.
She has lectured in colleges and universities and has taught graphic design to journalism students at Chapman College in California and St. Michael’s College in Vermont. She has been a judge for various design and photography shows throughout her career.
Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, and Powerpoint, she works on both PC and MAC platforms.
Mare lives in Croton On Hudson, and visits Brooklyn often where her two sons—one an art director in advertising, and the other a professional drummer—live.
